The term Gospel Americana is the way we have come to describe the musical style that emerged from the songs that were written for Thad’s Church in Los Angeles. It is spirit based, with lyric content that speaks to faith and everyday problems and a feel that borrows from American roots music: Country, Rhythm & Blues, Blues, Gospel and Classic Rock. We think you will find it both familiar and unique.
If you share a love of Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, The Band, The Allman Bros., The Meters, The Kinks, James Brown, Credence Clearwater Revival, ZZ Top, Van Morrison, Etta James, Booker T. & the MG’s, BB & Albert King and The Staple Singers take a moment to listen.
